Clinical Care Committee

Callen-Lorde’s Clinical Care Committee is the subcommittee of the Board of Directors that is charged with ensuring high-quality health care delivery at Callen-Lorde. To that end, the committee does the following:

  • Reviews clinical dashboard, benchmarks and measures;
  • Sets goals on a biannual basis;
  • Reviews and revises dashboard measures as needed;
  • Reviews and advises on interventions; and
  • On occasion, reviews documents requiring board sign off by outside agencies (i.e. some policies and procedures, clinical practice guidelines, etc.)

Applicants for committee membership are reviewed regularly.  We are currently recruiting candidates who would diversify our membership with the following characteristics:

Health Professions: Case Managers/Support Services/Care Coordination Services, Homeless Outreach Service Workers, Nursing
Gender: Women, Transgender
Race/Ethnicity: Latino/Hispanic, African-American/Black, American Indian
Providers from geographic areas: Providers in Brooklyn
