By filling your prescriptions at a Callen-Lorde pharmacy, you help us provide care to the most vulnerable members of our communities, regardless of ability to pay. We have onsite pharmacies at all three of our clinical locations – Chelsea, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.

- We accept a range of insurance plans including ADAP, Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and commercial insurance
- No insurance or no prescription drug coverage? No problem. We’re here to help, offering significant discounts on medications for qualifying patients

Controlled Substances
For all controlled substance prescriptions, an order should be requested to the pharmacy 5-7 days before you run out to give us sufficient time to request the prescription from your provider. However, please note that the prescription can NOT be filled early, just requested. This is a State Law.
Please note: As of 3/8/22, we will no longer be able to deliver C2 medications per New York 10 NYCRR 80.73(e) which states that confirmation with photo ID is required for delivery of all C2 medications. This is beyond the scope of FedEx/UPS and other courier services that our pharmacies rely upon.
For Patients Who Use Outside Pharmacies
We’re improving how you request prescriptions beginning August 1. To better serve you and reduce delays, we encourage all patients to contact their pharmacies directly or use MyChart for prescription requests.
Why this Change?
Phone requests often lead to delays, confusion, and duplicate messages. Switching to electronic and pharmacy-based requests helps us process your medications more quickly and safely.
