New York State Protections
The New York State Constitution protects you from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, as well as protects your right to reproductive decision-making. Access to medically-necessary transgender healthcare is explicitly protected in New York State. You are protected here in New York, and so is your care.

Your Privacy
Callen-Lorde is not required to verify an individual’s immigration status to provide services to residents in the community. It is not Callen-Lorde’s policy to collect or maintain such information.

Sexual Healthcare
At Callen-Lorde, we believe that sex is a natural and healthy part of life. We help people reduce their risk of HIV and STIs while also continuing to be sexually active. To support this, we provide affirming sexual healthcare to all members of our LGBTQ+ community. Thanks to our combined efforts, the end of the HIV/AIDS epidemic is within reach. To finish the job, we must continue to address persistent health inequities.

Advocate with Us
Our advocacy and policy initiatives promote LGBTQ+ health. Our advocacy efforts help to uplift our community’s voices to educate policymakers about the lifesaving care we need and deserve. We bring our message to Washington, DC, Albany and City Hall, and invite you to join us!
