Party and Prevention Kits

Callen-Lorde introduced Party and Prevention kits in June 2026 to help our communities be safe while having fun throughout the Pride season. We distributed more than 170 free packages across dozens of community events and gatherings—and the kits made such a splash that The Advocate, PIX11 and other outlets featured the initiative!  

The kits include  

• HIV self-tests (500 OraQuick kits were donated by OraSure) 

• PrEP on-demand (tenofovir/emtricitabine) 

• doxyPEP (200 mg doxycycline) 

• Narcan/Naloxone, fentanyl and xylazine test strips 

• Plan B (by request) 

• Condoms, dental dams, lube, sunscreen and lip balm 

“During Pride season, we need to prioritize pleasure and joy but also protection and prevention,” said NYC nightlife icon Susanne Bartsch, who introduced the kits in a video on our social media. “Callen-Lorde knows how to care for our community. This Party and Prevention kit will keep us all safe. Callen-Lorde meets people where they are.” 

But Party and Prevention kits aren’t just useful during Pride. They’re a representation of Callen-Lorde’s unapologetic spirit and relentless journey to help our people. And so we’re making more—and they’re available for you at Callen-Lorde Chelsea and Brooklyn for free. 

How to get the kits 

Visit our Brooklyn or Chelsea clinics to get a kit through our triage teams. We’ll also have kits available at certain events. Stop by our tables at community health fairs, health education events and more!
