Healthcare for Every BODY!

Today marks the start of Pride season in New York, and we’re thrilled to announce our 2018 Pride theme: Healthcare for Every BODY. We believe that providing quality healthcare for queer, trans, non-binary, black and brown bodies – bodies with a disability, bodies of size, bodies affected by poverty, and bodies who have been marginalized and oppressed – is the true meaning of health justice. It is our mission to create spaces that affirm humanity and individuality, empowering our patients to realize their own health and wellness, and we are proud to stand with our communities in this journey.

Our original Pride art was generously created and donated by illustrator, donor and friend, Ben Wiseman, whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post and This American Life, among many others. We will wear it proudly throughout Pride season, and we invite you to march with us and celebrate at Brooklyn Pride, Trans Day of Action, the NYC Dyke March and at the Heritage of PrideMarch. Sign up at callen-lorde.org/marchwithpride, and invite your friends!

Wishing you a happy, healthy Pride!
