YOUR VOTE, YOUR POWER
Callen-Lorde Voting Guide
Across the country, our LGBTQ+ communities are facing unprecedented threats to our health due to harmful and ill-informed policies. In 2023, over 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills were introduced in state legislatures. Many of these bills have stalled because communities are fighting back, evidence that we can build power through our vote.
There is a critical election this year, and it is not just a Presidential election. In New York State for example, every member of the legislature is up for election. These races shape critical policies on housing, healthcare, and workers’ rights.
Your vote is your power. Get registered to vote, encourage others in your circle to register, pledge to vote, and join us in shaping a better New York.
