Primary Care
What is primary care?
Primary care means caring for your whole self, not just when you’re sick. Primary care means preventive care – mental health screenings and interventions, dental care and oral health, sexual health, social services and more – all coordinated across a team of professionals from doctors to nurses, medical assistants to the folks at the pharmacy who fill your prescription. At the center of this, we believe in the importance of cultural competency and health justice for LGBTQ people, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, race, or socioeconomic status. In addition to the direct health services we provide, we seek to close the gap in health disparities for LGBTQ communities around the globe through public policy, advocacy, research, and education.
