Currently, we are not accepting new dental patients due to high demand and long appointment wait times.
We are continuing to see existing patients for routine care. This includes anyone who has had an initial or recall visit within the last three years. This does not include anyone we have seen for only urgent care visits.
We are also seeing patients with urgent needs, including:
- Severe pain that over-the-counter pain medication does not help
- Swelling
- Fever higher than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pus or foul-smelling discharge
- Difficulty swallowing or breathing
- Recent trauma to the face or mouth
New patients seen for urgent evaluations will not receive a full exam and cleaning until we reopen for new patients.

The Dental Clinic provides routine dental care and conducts comprehensive mouth, head, and neck examinations, screening and treatment in our state-of-the-art clinical suite.
Our staff takes a sensitive, compassionate approach to your oral health care and seeks to provide pain-free dental care services. We offer comprehensive preventive and problem-focused dental services to promote, protect, maintain and improve your oral health status, including:
- Routine checkups and cleanings
- Restorations (fillings)
- Root canals
- Crowns & bridges
- Dentures
- Referrals to other services
If you are a patient currently receiving medical services at Callen-Lorde, you are eligible for our integrated dental services.
We welcome Medicaid and ADAP Plus. For individuals without insurance coverage, we offer a sliding scale fee structure based on your documented income level and family size. Unfortunately, we cannot accept commercial insurance for dental services.
