Our special events are an incredible way to support the health of New York’s LGBTQ+ communities while having a great time doing it! Whether you’ve attended our special events in the past or are new to the Callen-Lorde community we hope you’ll come out and join us. Our special events range from galas to fun runs, cocktail receptions and more – we have something for everyone!

Rainbow Run

A spring 5K /10K run/walk supporting Callen-Lorde Community Health Center! This fun run/leisure walk promotes health and wellness while supporting our life-saving mission! Start a team, create your personal fundraising page, or donate and help us continue to provide a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ communities to get quality care, free of judgment and regardless of ability to pay. Women’s Pride in the Pines

Women’s Pride in the Pines is an annual gathering to celebrate and support LGBTQ+ women and allies in Fire Island Pines. Put on in partnership with the LGBTQ Focus Foundation and benefiting Callen-Lorde, this event is a lively party with vibrant entertainment and a commitment to community. Hamptons Tea Dance

Community Health Awards

The Community Health Awards is our celebration honoring the leaders, trailblazers, and visionaries in LGBTQ+ health and wellness. Each year, Callen-Lorde recognizes awardees for their contributions to the visibility and health of LGBTQ+ people. Past honorees include LaLa B.
