Simon joined Callen-Lorde in August 2021 as part of the year-long Keith Haring Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in LGBTQ+ Health. They earned their MSN from Seattle University in 2015 and completed an FNP residency with Sea Mar Community Health. Since then, they have worked as a primary care provider and clinical preceptor in a variety of settings including FQHC’s and value-based-care private clinics.

Simon works to share a wide range of primary care skills, with a special interest in body-positive Health at Every Size care, LGBTQIA++ care, HIV care, and informed consent access to gender-affirming care for trans and gender non-conforming people.

They are currently a Keith Haring Fellow – completing a year-long NP fellowship in LGBTQ health with Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in New York.

Simon acknowledges we are living together in systems of intersecting oppressions and believes that it is essential to respect each person’s radical autonomy and right to guide their own health journey.

In their free time Simon is an activist and abolitionist working for trans liberation, disability justice, and an end to white supremacy. They believe deeply in radical access to care – offering direct support to people experiencing police violence in activist spaces.
