At this time, we encourage you to use our delivery service for refills and non-urgent prescriptions. If you use the Callen-Lorde Pharmacy, you can request refills online, or by calling (877) 436-3452. If you are unable to receive a delivery or need additional support, please call 212.271.7204, option 2.
TESTING FOR COVID-19
We offer diagnostic and antibody COVID-19 testing for patients that do not have symptoms at our Chelsea and Brooklyn locations, Schedule your testing appointment online here and learn more about our COVID-19 response here.
The Thea Spyer Center (17th Street) is closed. All groups are temporarily suspended. Regularly scheduled appointments will be held by phone. Our waitlist for long term therapy is full. We are accepting new patients for short-term therapy and psychiatry.
Colposcopies, IUDs and testopel insertions have resumed at 18th Street. Wart treatment (SW) and anoscopies will resume soon. Please contact 212.271.7200 for rescheduling.
Callen-Lorde Dental is open for urgent care patients who have been previously triaged at a telehealth appointment. We are not booking appointments for routine dental services at this time. To schedule a telehealth dental appointment, please call 212.271.7200.
For those who receive hormone injections at our clinics, we are open to provide shots but we urge you to consider changing to pills or patches. Contact the clinic at 212.271.7200 to discuss options.
In order to best support our patients at this time, all Care Coordination is available on site and remotely. Field visits for patient navigation services are cancelled indefinitely. Legal Services NYC is working with patients remotely and will not be staffing their usual Wednesday evening sessions for the time being. Instead, they are working with Callen-Lorde to reach out to the patients who had scheduled appointments with them over the next few weeks to offer support by phone. Additionally, they are staffing their citywide hotline for anyone seeking legal assistance: 917.661.4500.
Sexual health and PrEP appointments are now virtual, please call 212.271.7200 to schedule a phone or video call. Patients can walk in to our sites for PEP up until 2 hours before the clinic closes.
The state has re-opened Open Enrollment until August 15th. Request a call from an Insurance Navigation Specialist here. Patients can also directly apply for coverage through the NY State of Health on-line at nystateofhealth.ny.gov or by phone at 855-355-5777.
We are strongly encouraging patients get labs done at a Bioreference or Labcorp close to their home. There are a limited amount of lab appointments in Chelsea and the Bronx to be scheduled by triage or as requested by a provider.
