This year our Pride theme, Care Without Compromise, is a rallying cry in the face of rising attacks on LGBTQ+ rights and healthcare access. At a time when our identities are being politicized and our care threatened, we’re standing up—boldly, visibly, and unapologetically—for healthcare rooted in science, delivered with dignity, and free from politics. Inspired by the legacy of protest, this campaign channels the spirit of Pride as resistance and reminds us: we refuse to settle for anything less than affirming, equitable and compassionate care for all.

About Callen-Lorde

About the Artist
This year’s original Pride art was generously created and donated by illustrator, donor and friend of Callen-Lorde, Ben Wiseman!
Ben (he/him) is an artist and designer whose work has been recognized by American Illustration, ADC Young Guns 7 and AIGA. Since graduating from Parsons in 2008, Ben’s work has spanned globally recognized brands and publications, from book covers to Broadway, from murals to animations. You may recognize his style from the over 100 illustrations contributed to The New York Times, or as the artist behind our 2018 Pride art: Healthcare for Every BODY!
Why Care Without Compromise?
At Callen-Lorde, we provide Care Without Compromise—grounded in science, driven by compassion, and rooted in the lived experiences of our communities. We will not be silenced. We will not be legislated out of existence. And we will not accept a healthcare system that asks us to choose between dignity and access, safety and authenticity, visibility and survival.
No trade-offs. No exceptions. Just care that affirms who we are, how we live, and what we need to thrive.
This Pride season, we return to our roots—because Pride began as a protest, and the fight is far from over. Across the country, LGBTQ+ people—especially trans and non-binary folks—are facing relentless attacks on our rights, our bodies, and our access to care. In this moment of backlash, we rise with clarity and conviction: Our care is not up for debate.
