Transgender Health Services

Gender-different people have historically faced widespread discrimination and misunderstanding from health care providers. As a consequence, many persons of transgender experience do not regularly access appropriate and timely care. Callen-Lorde provides a trans-affirmative environment where you can receive hormone therapy, as well as engage in an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider and/or a mental health provider to address the entirety of your health and wellness needs.

• Referrals for trans-sensitive mammography
• Cross Gender Hormone Therapy
• Laboratory monitoring
• Transgender counseling and education

Transgender Sexual Health Clinic

Services may include:

• Chest/Breast Exam
• Pelvic Exam & PAP Test
• Prostate Exam
• STI Screening & Treatment
• Harm Reduction Counseling
